Subway Offers Delivery Service

Tit for tat. Quiznos expanded its services to include delivery, with some franchise owners complaining about the increased cost and small benefits. Now Subway Restaurants offers the same, but with delivery through the UDS Group Inc. 

Today the two announce delivery services for Boston - and beyond.

Under the agreement, UDS will manage SUBWAY Restaurants' delivery launch using its single nationwide toll free number 888-SUB-TO-GO for participating restaurants throughout the U.S. This alliance is aimed to provide SUBWAY Restaurants an opportunity to get a footprint in a market currently dominated by Pizza and Asian Cuisine which is a 32 billion dollar industry to date.

It's a competitive world.
