Swirl

I'm wondering if anyone has any experience with "Swirl" as a retailer or distributor. If not, other suggestions for quality, compact smoothies that can be a part of a candy business but not the focus - another product line.

Thanks!

Swirling will make you dizzy!

A friend of mine was really hot on this concept and shared the information packet with me. The distributorship is VERY pricey to say the least. I was disappointed when I started investigating the price for the products from other vendors. The prices I found for the same brand of machine ranges from $1200 single $1700 double to $2500 triple bowls. Similar drink mix qualities and flavors were also available in high fruit juice concentrates. The silver package distributorship goes for just over $40k and includes 10 of these double machines - ($17,000)and 300 cases of the 12% (lowest quality)concentrate. The majority of the materials do not even mention this mix percentage, but yet, you are being sent 300 cases of it? The initial shipment is for 300 cases. (6 - 1/2 gallons =3 gallons per case). A case weighs over 30 pounds! A pallet holds 60 cases. So five pallets dropped on a door step? Seems to me that most retailers would not be interested in 10 of these machines - more likely a total of 6-8 flavors which is 2 to 4 units. 3 Large units of 3 bowls equals 9 flavors for $7500 plus mixes. 4 medium units of 2 bowls equals 8 flavors for $7600 plu mixes. You do the math - can't see why anyone would be a distributor when it is far easier for a retailer to go it alone.
