They Just Keep Coming

Following a relaxing weekend trip I 'checked up' on my business. And what did I find in my inbox but a link to a site that encourages people to franchise their business "before someone else franchises the same concept!"

At Franchise Maker, an energetic lady sells the idea of franchising businesses, and of course, using their unique services to do so.

It seems in vogue nowadays to sell people on franchising as opposed to my position of investigation and education. That is to say:

When it comes to franchise new comers, whether they are franchisees or franchisors, the salesman loves the chase and the educator loves the discussion. (Maybe I'll adopt a new tag along those lines. What do you think?)

I love work that is focused on honesty and helping others, but usually business is simply focused on selling more 'stuff'. And so it goes - smart people see the light while the greedy and dumb fall into the shaft. The light is on for those who think; for others, the shaft might be a good thing.
