A reporter received an email from Franchise Genius, a franchisor advertisement portal, and looks into answering if this is the time to buy a restaurant franchise. Here is what Franchise Genius told her.

The one bright spot, however, is restaurants. Those with full service are expected to grow 1.3 percent while fast-food outlets are set to increase by 1.3 percent.

Somehow, the reporter isn't quite persuaded and decides to "stick to writing." She concludes, "I’ve decided I like eating food better than making it."

With loose facts like these, that's a smart move.
