Today Fremont, Tomorrow The World

Al Bernardin, the inventor of the McDonald's Quarter Pounder, died Dec. 22 in Fremont, Calif., after suffering a stroke. He was 81.

I originally found this as a half page obituary in Brisbane, Australia’s Courier Mail but could not find it online there so I googled and found Mr Benardin’s enterprising life and sad passing had seemingly been published in every nook and cranny around the world.

Here is the report from Tulsa World

While I was amazed at the level of technology that goes into product development and burger training at McDonalds it just goes to show us you do have to spend money to make money but it seems Mr Benardin knew that well.
