'Twas the Night Before Christmas

Santa Claus, photo by Blue MauMau

'Twas the night before Christmas, when all through the town
Not a franchise was stirring, not even Ground Round.
The signs were dimmed by the roadside with care,
Knowing patrons would return, the market no bear.

Biz brokers were nestled all snug in their beds,
While visions of commissions danced in their heads.
And MauMau in fish heav'n, and Don in his cap,
Had both settled their thoughts from the next franchise flap.

When out from Wyndham, there arose such a clatter,
Don sprang from his bed to see what was the matter.
Onto his computer he flew like a flash,
Connected through Windows, without a mad crash

The feeds on the web of his large screen did glow
Franchise news shall go on, our readers must know

From Publisher Don Sniegowski and Mr. Blue MauMau
Happy Christmas to all, and to all a good night!
