I have been involved in franchising since 1996 when I first completed a Masters thesis researching franchising. From there I completed a PhD, also researching franchising.

I joined Franchize Consultants (NZ) Ltd in 2004. Since that time I  have led New Zealand franchise development and improvement projects across a range of business sectors involving leading local and international organisations. Current / recent clients include New Zealand Post & Kiwibank, Contact Energy, Totalspan, Versatile Buildings, Columbus Coffee, Motor Trade Finance, Chevron, Speedy Signs, Lion Nathan, Dominion Breweries, Goodyear Dunlop and APN.

I am happily married and have three young children. When I can, I like to take to the water in my sea kayak - and let rip!I

I'm also a proud [South] Cantabrian and follow the Canterbury Crusaders rugby team. I also give my respects to the people of Christchurch recovering from the earthquake devistation. I now live in Auckland, but have a little first hand experience with the situation.
