A self-proclaimed "guru" of franchising in the Philippines foresees the number of franchisors increasing by 45% in 2009, and notes that a new franchisor could sell "10 franchisees in the first year." The writer also names a chicken cart franchise where franchisees "have recovered their investments in less than 3 months."
