A franchise broker is paid a fee (a commission) by a franchisor upon the sale of a franchise in which the ‘broker’ participated. They have adopted the habit of referring to themselves as ‘consultants’, a term that is intentionally misleading to the prospective buyers they secure for the franchisor. ‘If’ they are consulting for any party, that would be the franchisor. They are in the business of sales and their income is tied to the ultimate sale of a franchise which they represent.

Re: Brokers

Has anyone heard of FRANEXPERT? If so any feedback would be helpful. I am considering joining their program.
