New plant-based burgers are tasting like meat thanks to a new technology. Paul Solman of PBS NewsHour investigates further.

Upon trying a burger, Salmon said, "This is like an In-N-Out Burger." The economics correspondent could not tell the difference between the plant-based burger he was eating and beef burgers.

What's the secret ingredient? In a word, leghemoglobin, which is more popularly known and marketed as "heme."
