Franchise Jobs Cool in April

ROSELAND, N.J.—In a sign that the economy cooled in April, private-sector franchise jobs in the United States increased by only 15,600 during the month. Franchise jobs had an unusually soft month in April, matching the same monthly growth rate of small business hirings of 0.2%. Franchise hirings typically exceed small business monthly rates.

November a Good Month for Franchise Jobs

ROSELAND, N.J. – Jobs increased 25,000 in November by franchise establishments. That level of recruiting has not been reached since June's 33,330 hirings.

ROSELAND, N.J. — U.S. private-sector franchise jobs increased by 30,950 during the month of April, 2014. At 0.4% monthly growth rate, hires by franchised establishments grew more quickly than the 0.2% of all small business establishments of under 50 employees.

ROSELAND, N.J. – The coming of spring has brought a pleasant thaw in jobs to the franchise sector. American franchises increased the number of individuals hired by 30,830 in March 2014 according to ADP.

ROSELAND, N.J.—Franchise jobs in the U.S. private sector increased by 27,910 during the month of June, according to ADP (Automatic Data Processing Inc.). Restaurants accounted for 75 percent of the total jobs gain in franchise establishments.
