When founding families leave & professional mgt takes over

The taking over of a company when a founder and their family leaves to be led by professional management is a HUGE change for any system. It is uncertain if Subway can become a McDonald's. Nor can it default to its old position of the founder taking over. He's gone. Good luck Subway owners. Will Buck and Liz promote a CEO from within or will they reach out? If they hire a permanent CEO from outside, it sends a message of big change. I would hope you would scramble to up the professionalism of your association to have a seat that decides the makeup of what Subway becomes.
