Accor Launches App for New Apple Watch

PARIS, France – Guests of Accor hotels will soon be able to manage their hotel bookings through a new app that will be available on the just-announced Apple Watch.
The app will show bookings, an interactive map to a hotel property, information about a property among its 14 brands and 3,700 hotels, and provide access to a guest's loyalty points and status.
Accor's SVP e-commerce Romain Roulleau says that the company wants to put itself solidly into the mobile technology world. "Accor is thus fully embracing the era of connected wearables and adopting an ongoing improvement approach to this robust market trend so it can provide guests with a value added service before, during and after their stay," states Roulleau.
